Pimple Saudagar: Grand gathering on March 28, with bhajan session and social awareness initiative organised by KI Road, Hindu Sammelan Samiti
A large-scale cultural and spiritual gathering will be held on March 28 at Balasaheb Kunjir Maidan in Pimpale Saudagar from 6 pm to 9 pm.
The event is expected to draw hundreds of attendees and is open to all. Organisers said the organisation aims to celebrate Hindu cultural pride, strengthen community bonds, and bring families together through shared spiritual and social experiences.
The highlight of the evening will be a bhajan jamming session led by Shashank Pathak and his team, where attendees can participate in devotional singing. The programme will feature special social awareness spiritual discourse under the guidance of Kalicharan Ji Maharaj, focusing on Hindu philosophy and values.
A key theme of the samiti is “Panch Parivartan” — five pillars aimed at personal and social transformation: self-awareness, family bonding, social awareness, environmental consciousness, and civic sense.
Speaking about the initiative, one of the organiser, Vikas Saxena said, “It’s equally important that we connect GenZ and create awareness about our rich culture and connect them to our roots of rich Indian Culture. So we have arranged the Bhajan Jamming session, also to help them relate and bridge gaps.”
Another organiser Atish added, “We personally meet families and encourage them to spend family time or at least have one meal together, which we believe would be great help in children connecting with parents and others, especially in this age where people feel lonely, isolated and prone to depression.”
The organisers said volunteers will be present at the venue to guide attendees, and similar events are planned across other parts of the city in the coming months.
The Sammelan is positioned as both a celebration of heritage and an effort to promote stronger families and socially responsible communities through cultural connection.
