Pune, April 11, 2026: The Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) conducted a comprehensive review of ongoing infrastructure projects across the city, with Additional Municipal Commissioner (Special) Omprakash Divte inspecting multiple key sites on Thursday.

The inspection was carried out in the presence of Chief Engineer (Projects) Dinkar Gojare and other concerned officials. The visit began at Sadhu Vaswani Bridge and included a review of major projects such as the Aga Khan river bridge, Shastrinagar flyover and underpass, Vishrantwadi flyover and underpass, and the Bindu Madhav Thackeray Chowk flyover.

Taking serious note of delays in several projects, strict instructions were issued to contractors to adhere to the निर्धारित schedule and ensure timely completion. The administration also directed officials to accelerate the pace of work and implement necessary measures to avoid further delays.

Additionally, officials have been instructed to prepare detailed bar charts for each project, which will be closely monitored at the Additional Commissioner’s level. To ensure regular oversight, monthly review meetings will now be conducted—one at the office and another at project sites.

The PMC reiterated its commitment to strengthening urban infrastructure through these projects and ensuring their completion within stipulated timelines.
