In the Marathwada region, districts such as Beed, Hingoli, Nanded, Latur, and Dharashiv are also under a yellow alert. Meanwhile, parts of Vidarbha, including Akola, Amravati, and Wardha, are likely to face rising temperatures, with a yellow alert issued for heatwave-like conditions. Residents have been advised to avoid stepping out during peak afternoon hours and to stay hydrated to prevent heat-related illnesses.

In Konkan and some other regions, including Palghar, Raigad, Sindhudurg, Kolhapur, as well as Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Jalna, and Parbhani, no official alert has been issued. However, these areas may still witness light to moderate rainfall with thunder, along with partly cloudy skies.

Other parts of north Maharashtra and some areas in Vidarbha are expected to remain dry and hot. Maximum temperatures in these regions may range between 40°C and 43°C, while minimum temperatures could stay between 24°C and 27°C.

Overall, Maharashtra is set to experience a combination of rain and heat over the next day. The weather department has urged citizens to stay updated with local forecasts and advised farmers to take necessary precautions while planning agricultural activities.
