Pune Solapur Highway: Minor Collision Between ST And Private Bus Near Bhairobanala, No Injuries Reported
Pune, May 4, 2026: A minor road accident occurred near Bhairobanala police outpost, close to a petrol pump, at around 6:30 a.m. today. The incident involved a state transport (ST) bus and a private bus, causing brief disruption in the area during early morning hours.
According to initial reports, the collision was minor in nature and did not result in any injuries to passengers or drivers. Both vehicles sustained damage, and the situation was brought under control shortly after the incident.
The rear glass of the ST bus was damaged in the impact, while the front windshield of the private bus was shattered. Despite the visible damage to both vehicles, passengers remained safe, avoiding what could have been a more serious situation.
Eyewitnesses at the scene stated that the accident occurred when the ST bus driver applied sudden brakes, leaving the private bus driver with little time to react. This led to the minor collision between the two vehicles.
Local authorities have taken note of the incident, and traffic movement in the area has since returned to normal. No formal complaints or serious legal actions have been reported so far.
