LPG Cylinder Price List Released: Check the Latest Rates for Domestic and Commercial LPG Cylinders
Domestic LPG Cylinder Price Hiked By Rs 29 Across India;Â Rs 941.50 in Mumbai
Prices of domestic, commercial and industrial LPG cylinders have been updated across India, with major differences seen based on cylinder size and usage
New LPG cylinder rates have been announced across the country, bringing changes for domestic users, small businesses, restaurants and industrial consumers. While household cylinder prices remain relatively stable in several cities, commercial and industrial categories continue to witness significantly higher rates.
In Mumbai, the price of a 14.2 kg domestic LPG cylinder stands at Rs 912.5 on May 7, 2026. The rate remains unchanged compared to the previous month. LPG prices are revised every month and vary from city to city depending on transportation costs and local taxes.

The commonly used 14.2 kg household LPG cylinder continues to remain within reach for ordinary consumers in major cities. Smaller 5 kg cylinders are also available for families requiring lower gas consumption or temporary usage.
Officials say domestic LPG prices are generally regulated to protect consumers from sudden fluctuations. However, commercial and industrial users continue to face higher operational expenses due to increased rates in larger-capacity cylinders.
The 19 kg commercial cylinder, widely used by hotels, dhabas and restaurants, is currently priced at around Rs 3,071.5.
High-efficiency cylinders such as Nanocut and XtraTej models are priced between Rs 3,094 and Rs 3,225, increasing the burden on small businesses and commercial establishments.
Large-capacity cylinders used in industries and factories are also witnessing steep pricing. The 47.5 kg cylinder is priced between Rs 7,674.5 and Rs 7,730.5, while the largest 425 kg industrial bulk cylinders are reportedly priced between Rs 68,707.5 and Rs 69,209.
These cylinders are mainly used in factories and large industrial units with heavy gas consumption requirements.
Along with standard LPG cylinders, lightweight and portable models are attracting attention due to ease of handling and convenience.
Extralight cylinders with gas-level indicators are becoming increasingly popular among consumers because of their lower weight and easier portability.
The price of a 10 kg Extralight cylinder is around Rs 652.5, while smaller 5 kg variants are available between Rs 339 and Rs 826, depending on the model and refill type.
Experts say LPG prices in India differ from state to state mainly because of variations in Value Added Tax (VAT), transport expenses and local distribution costs.
While domestic consumers may not see a major change immediately, commercial establishments and industries are expected to closely monitor future revisions as fuel expenses continue to impact operational costs.
