Interestingly, viewers will get to enjoy content from different genres, promising full-on entertainment. So, even in the scorching summer heat, you won’t get bored staying indoors. Here’s a look at this week’s OTT releases.

Jetly


Jetly is a Telugu-language comedy thriller directed by Ritesh Rana. The film stars Sathya in the lead role along with Riya Suman and Vennela Kishore. The story revolves around a flight attendant who gets caught in chaotic circumstances during a flight. The movie performed well during its theatrical release and is now available for streaming on JioHotstar from May 25.

Brother and Sister


Brother and Sister is a Tamil-language series premiering on May 27. Directed by Chidambaram Manivannan, this family drama follows the story of a strict family head whose actions eventually push the family toward breaking apart. The series will also stream on JioHotstar.

Kara


This Tamil heist thriller is set against the backdrop of the 1991 Gulf War. The story follows Karasamy (played by Dhanush), a thief who returns to his criminal ways after a ruthless bank manager and a corrupt DSP seize his family’s ancestral land. Kara will stream on Netflix from May 28 in Tamil, Hindi, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam.

Cousins and Kalyanams


Cousins and Kalyanams is a comedy-drama series based on the lives and family bonds of six cousins. The first episode will premiere on JioHotstar on May 29. The show consists of 60 episodes, with four new episodes releasing every Friday.

Roommates
This Kannada comedy-drama series follows four friends — Ravi, Peter, Gani, and Hari — as they try to balance friendship, survival, and conflicts arising from a dispute at a local cricket ground. Under the watch of their landlord, the disagreement soon turns into a major ego battle. The series is expected to premiere in May.

Spider-Noir


This eight-episode action drama stars Nicolas Cage as Ben Reilly, a struggling private detective living in 1930s New York who gave up his superhero identity after a tragic incident. The series will stream on Amazon Prime Video from May 27, 2026.

Dead Man’s Wire
Directed by Gus Van Sant, this film tells the story of Tony Kiritsis (played by Bill Skarsgård), a desperate and suspicious real estate developer who takes a hostage at gunpoint while demanding ransom and an official apology. The movie will premiere on Netflix on May 28, 2026.

However, she gets pulled into another dangerous mystery when her classmate’s brother, Jamie Reynolds, goes missing just before an important court case.
