Four residents of Manvat lost their lives after a motorcycle collided with a Pune-bound private bus on the Parbhani-Pathri road, triggering grief across the region.
A tragic road accident in Maharashtra’s Parbhani district claimed four lives late on Friday night after a motorcycle carrying four persons collided with a private bus travelling towards Pune. The accident occurred near Rahul Ginning on the Parbhani-Pathri road and has left the entire Manvat area in mourning.
According to police, the private bus was travelling from Parbhani to Pune when the collision took place. The impact of the crash was so severe that all four occupants of the motorcycle died on the spot. Emergency responders and police personnel rushed to the scene soon after receiving information about the accident.
The deceased have been identified as Shubham Apparao Dahe (30), Vishnu Gore (28), Prahlad Ashokrao Kute (29) and Navnath Shamrao Jadhav (38), all residents of Manvat in Parbhani district.
Authorities said the accident occurred at around 9.30 pm near Rahul Ginning. The force of the collision left little chance of survival for the victims, resulting in all four being declared dead at the scene.
After receiving the alert, police officers and local administration officials immediately reached the accident site. With the help of local residents, the injured and deceased were shifted to a nearby hospital.
Traffic movement on the road was temporarily affected following the collision. However, police personnel worked to clear the route and restore normal traffic flow within a short period.
Officials confirmed that the bodies were sent to the Rural Hospital in Manvat for post-mortem examination. Further legal procedures are underway, and the bodies will be handed over to family members after completion of the formalities.
Police have launched an investigation to determine the exact circumstances that led to the crash. Authorities are examining all available evidence as part of the inquiry.
