Pune, June 2, 2026: Maharashtra Real Estate Regulatory Authority (MahaRERA) has taken a stern action against real estate firm Vilas Javdekar Infinitee Developers Pvt. Ltd. for violating advertising norms in connection with its premium residential project, Pratik Nagar Palladio Kothrud Central in Pune.

The MahaRERA has imposed a penalty against the real estate firm for not not displaying the mandatory MahaRERA registration number and official website address in the prescribed font size in its pamphlets.

According to MahaRERA, the developer prioritised the contact details and ignored the relevant information such as the regulatory information, making it less visible, further violating the advertising guidelines issued in April 2025.

The developer in its defence argued that the discrepancy was caused by a printing machine error and maintained that there was no intention to mislead homebuyers. But, MahaRERA rejected the explanation given by the developer and announced that the developer had clearly violated the directions.

MahaRERA imposed a fine under Section 63 of the Real Estate (Regulation and Development) Act (RERA). It also cautioned the developer that failure to pay the penalty within 15 days would result in the amount being doubled.

Additionally, the firm would also face a legal action if the promoter fails to comply with the directives in the next three months.
