Pune: Insurance Company Manager Arrested for Alleged Repeated Molestation of Female Employee in Hinjewadi
Pune, June 3: A shocking case of alleged workplace sexual harassment has come to light from an insurance company’s office in Aundh, where a senior manager was arrested for repeatedly molesting a female employee.
According to police, the accused has been identified as Mohammad alias Jafar Syed. The action was taken after the victim lodged a complaint at Hinjawadi Police Station, alleging that the manager had repeatedly harassed and molested her.
As per the complaint, Syed allegedly engaged in inappropriate conversations with the woman over the phone unrelated to work and also took her to Lonavala for a meal, where he allegedly behaved inappropriately and outraged her modesty.
Following the complaint, Hinjawadi Police registered a case and arrested the accused. Further investigation into the matter is underway.
