June 6, 2026:  Toyota has launched the 2026 Innova Crysta in India at a starting price of ₹19.72 lakh. The updated MPV gets refreshed styling, new features, enhanced safety equipment and continues with the 2.4-litre diesel engine.

Toyota Kirloskar Motor has launched the 2026 Innova Crysta in India, with prices starting at ₹19.72 lakh (ex-showroom). The latest update brings subtle design changes, additional features, and enhanced convenience equipment while retaining the MPV’s proven diesel engine and spacious cabin layout.

The Innova Crysta continues to be one of India’s most popular multi-purpose vehicles (MPVs), particularly among large families, business owners, and fleet operators. With the 2026 update, Toyota aims to keep the model competitive in the premium MPV segment despite growing competition from newer rivals.

On the exterior, the updated Innova Crysta receives a refreshed front fascia featuring a revised grille design, updated bumper styling, and new detailing that gives the MPV a more modern appearance. While the overall silhouette remains unchanged, the cosmetic tweaks help distinguish the new model from its predecessor.

Inside the cabin, Toyota has introduced new upholstery and trim finishes to enhance the premium feel. The MPV now comes equipped with additional convenience features, including a wireless smartphone charger and a Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS). Depending on the variant, buyers also get features such as an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with smartphone connectivity, automatic climate control, ambient lighting, rear AC vents, cruise control, and a powered driver’s seat.

Safety continues to be a key focus for Toyota. The Innova Crysta offers multiple airbags, Vehicle Stability Control, Hill Start Assist Control, Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) with Electronic Brake-force Distribution (EBD), rear parking sensors, and TPMS across select variants.

Mechanically, the MPV remains unchanged. It is powered by a 2.4-litre four-cylinder diesel engine that produces 150 PS of power and 343 Nm of torque. The engine is paired with a five-speed manual transmission, delivering the strong low-end performance and reliability for which the Innova Crysta is known.

Toyota continues to offer the MPV in both seven-seat and eight-seat configurations, catering to different customer requirements. The model range includes GX, GX+, VX and ZX variants, allowing buyers to choose from multiple feature levels.

The 2026 Innova Crysta is priced between ₹19.72 lakh and ₹26.63 lakh (ex-showroom), with the top-spec ZX variant positioned as the flagship offering. The MPV will continue to be sold alongside the Innova HyCross, giving customers the choice between a traditional diesel-powered MPV and a more modern petrol-hybrid alternative.

Over the years, the Innova Crysta has built a strong reputation for durability, comfort, low maintenance costs, and high resale value. The latest update seeks to build on that legacy by offering modern features while retaining the qualities that have made the model a favourite among Indian buyers.
