Pune Police Conduct Massive Raid On Call Centres In Amanora and Fursungi; Over 200 Personnel Deployed
Pune, June 11, 2026: A large-scale police operation carried out across two call centres in Pune’s eastern suburbs has sparked widespread interest and speculation, with more than 200 police personnel participating in raids that continued for over 10 hours.
The coordinated action began around 1:30 pm on Wednesday and continued until late at night at two call centres located in Amanora, Hadapsar, and Infocity in Fursungi. The operation was conducted jointly by teams from Pune Police’s Zone 6 and the Cyber Crime Cell.
According to sources, police teams simultaneously surrounded the facilities and carried out extensive searches inside the premises. One of the targeted establishments was identified as the Apex call centre operating within Amanora, while another call centre located in the Infocity complex at Fursungi was also searched.
The scale of the operation, involving officers and personnel drawn from multiple police stations, has made it one of the most significant raids conducted on call centre operations in Pune in recent times.
While officials have not yet disclosed the exact nature of the investigation, the prolonged search has led to speculation about possible cybercrime activities and other serious violations. Authorities have maintained strict confidentiality regarding the findings and have not released any official statement on whether any illegal activities were detected during the raids.
The operation remained underway for several hours as police examined records, electronic devices and operational details at the two locations.
