Renowned Real Estate Entrepreneur Kapil Gandhi Passes Away Following Heart Attack
Pune, June 15, 2026: The real estate industry is mourning the loss of noted entrepreneur and industry leader Kapil Gandhi, who passed away on Monday after suffering a heart attack.
Gandhi, Founder of Sigma One Landmarks/Universal and a prominent figure in the real estate sector, was widely respected for his leadership, vision, and contributions to industry organizations. He served as a Committee Member for Public Relations at CREDAI National and was the Convenor of PR, Media & IGR for the Managing Committees of CREDAI Pune and CREDAI Maharashtra.
According to sources, Gandhi had been battling a prolonged illness and had recently recovered following medical treatment. However, he reportedly suffered a sudden heart attack on Monday and passed away despite efforts to save him.
His final rites will be performed at Vaikunth Crematorium on Tuesday at 10:30 am.
A first-generation entrepreneur and artist, Gandhi earned admiration across the real estate fraternity for his dedication to the industry’s growth and development. His passing has prompted an outpouring of condolences from developers, business leaders, industry colleagues, and members of the CREDAI community across Maharashtra and the country.
Many have remembered him as a visionary leader, a passionate industry representative, and a professional who consistently worked towards strengthening the real estate sector through collaboration, advocacy, and innovation. His demise leaves a significant void in the industry and among those who knew and worked with him.
