PCMC To Keep Property Tax Cash Counters Open On Weekends; Only 11 Days Left To Avail Rebate
Pimpri-Chinchwad, June 19, 2026: To help citizens avail themselves of various property tax rebates announced by the Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC), the civic body has decided to keep cash counters open on weekends as well. All 18 divisional tax collection offices will remain operational on Saturdays and Sundays June 20, 21, 27, and 28 from 10 am to 4 pm.
According to the Tax Collection Department, property taxpayers have only 11 days remaining to take advantage of the concessions available until June 30, 2026. As of June 18, PCMC has collected ₹381.60 crore in property tax during the first quarter of the 2026–27 financial year.

Every year, PCMC announces special incentives for property owners who pay their taxes early in the financial year. This year too, attractive rebates have been offered for taxpayers making payments before June 30. To ensure maximum participation, the Tax Collection Department has launched extensive awareness campaigns through SMS alerts, phone calls, hoardings, social media platforms, and other communication channels.
In addition, Assistant Circle Officers and Group Clerks from divisional offices are directly contacting property owners and encouraging them to complete their tax payments within the stipulated period.
Although online payment facilities are available, many citizens continue to visit tax offices to make payments in cash or through other modes. To avoid inconvenience and reduce last-minute rush at offices, PCMC has extended cash counter operations to weekends.
The civic body has appealed to all property owners to pay their taxes before June 30 and contribute towards the city’s development while benefiting from the available rebates.
Mayor Ravi Landge said timely tax payments play a crucial role in strengthening civic services such as roads, water supply, sanitation, and healthcare. He urged citizens to embrace the spirit of “My Tax, My City” by taking advantage of the concessions offered by PCMC.
Municipal Commissioner Dr. Vijay Suryavanshi stated that weekend cash counters have been introduced to provide more convenient and citizen-friendly services. He urged taxpayers to utilise the available facilities and complete payments before the deadline.
Deputy Commissioner Sachin Pawar said June 30 is the final opportunity to avail the rebates and encouraged citizens to pay their taxes early to avoid crowds during the last few days of the concession period.
