Imagicaa Water Park Temporarily Closed From June 19 Due to Low Water Levels
Maharashtra Irrigation Department directs Imagicaa to stop using dam water as nearby reservoirs face low levels; park to remain shut until the situation improves.
Imagicaaworld Entertainment Ltd has announced the temporary closure of its water park in Khopoli, Maharashtra, from June 19, 2026, following instructions from the Maharashtra Irrigation Department.
The department directed the company to stop using water from nearby dams due to declining water levels in the region, which authorities have linked to the prevailing El Niño conditions.
As a result, Imagicaa Water Park, located on the Khopoli-Pali Road in Raigad district, will remain closed until the water situation improves. The company said it is closely monitoring the situation and will provide updates on when operations can resume.
Imagicaaworld is also assessing the financial impact of the closure and may approach its insurers under the Loss of Profit cover, though it is uncertain whether any claim will be approved. The company noted that the impact could be minimal if the park reopens soon.
