Netflix has announced the release of its upcoming romantic drama series Musafir Cafe, starring Vikrant Massey, Vedika Pinto and Mahima Makwana in the lead roles. The series will premiere exclusively on the streaming platform on July 24.
Set against the scenic backdrops of Bhopal and Mussoorie, Musafir Cafe follows the lives of three strangers whose paths cross in unexpected ways. Through their journeys, the series explores themes of love, destiny, companionship, personal growth and the life-changing impact of chance encounters.
Vikrant Massey plays Chander Mohan Sharma, a man searching for meaning and a place where he truly belongs. Vedika Pinto portrays Sudha, a strong-willed woman determined to live life on her own terms, while Mahima Makwana stars as Preeti, whose kindness and empathy leave a lasting impact on those around her.
Adapted from the bestselling novel Musafir Cafe by Divya Prakash Dubey, the series has been created and written by Sharanya Rajgopal and directed by Ruchir Arun.
The supporting cast includes Adil Hussain, Rajeev Siddhartha, Anubha Fatehpuria, Loveleen Mishra, and Sadia Siddiqui, who play key roles in the story.
Musafir Cafe is produced by Terribly Tiny Tales in association with Homemade Stories, with Vikrant Massey’s production banner also attached to the project. The executive producers include Sharanya Rajgopal, Vineet Batra, Prachi Bhatnagar, Anuj Gosalia and Vijay Subramaniam.
Blending heartfelt storytelling with picturesque locations and a strong ensemble cast, Musafir Cafe is among Netflix India’s highly anticipated original releases this month. The romantic drama will be available for streaming worldwide on July 24.
