Pimple Saudagar: Man Seriously Injured After Tree Falls on Kunal Icon Road Amid Heavy Rain
Pimpri-Chinchwad, July 4: A man sustained serious injuries after a large tree collapsed due to heavy rainfall on Kunal Icon Road near Saudagar Hotel in the Rahatani-Pimple Saudagar area on Friday.
The injured person, identified as S. N. Gudale, a resident of a nearby housing society, was trapped after the tree fell. Upon receiving information about the incident, immediate rescue efforts were initiated with the help of the police, fire brigade and emergency response teams.
A local support team and an ambulance were also rushed to the spot to assist in the rescue operation. With coordinated efforts from all the agencies, Gudale was safely rescued and shifted to Jeevanjyoti Hospital for treatment.

According to the attending doctors, Gudale has suffered an injury to his spine, and further treatment is currently underway. His condition is being closely monitored.
Authorities appreciated the prompt response of the police, fire brigade, health department, volunteers and local residents who participated in the rescue operation.
In view of the ongoing monsoon, citizens have been urged to remain alert and avoid standing near large trees, dilapidated walls and other potentially hazardous structures during heavy rainfall.
Corporator Nana Kate said that immediate rescue efforts were launched as soon as information about the incident was received. “After learning about the tree collapse, I directed my team to coordinate with the police, fire brigade and health department to ensure the injured resident was rescued without delay. Our ambulance and office representatives also reached the spot and shifted the injured person to Jeevanjyoti Hospital for treatment. I pray for Mr. S. N. Gudale’s speedy recovery. With the monsoon intensifying, I appeal to all citizens to remain vigilant and avoid standing near large trees, dilapidated walls and other potentially dangerous structures during heavy rainfall,” he said.
