Pune: The investigation into the murder of Pune realtor Ketan Agrawal has taken a fresh turn after sources claimed that prime accused Siya Goyal had secretly married her alleged partner, Chetan Chaudhary, nearly four months before the murder.

According to sources, the alleged marriage took place during a private sindur ceremony at a lodge, despite Siya being engaged to Ketan Agrawal. Investigators are now trying to establish the sequence of events and verify whether the reported marriage was concealed from both families while preparations for Siya and Ketan’s wedding continued.

Police are examining WhatsApp chats, call records, location data and internet search history collected during the investigation. Sources said these digital records reportedly revealed frequent communication between Siya and Chetan and led investigators to the claim of a secret marriage.

Investigators are also attempting to trace the alleged marriage certificate. According to sources, two college friends of Siya reportedly signed as witnesses to the marriage.
