Here's How You Can Track The Live Movement Of Palkhi Processions In Pune
Pune, July 9, 2026: As the palkhi processions of Sant Dnyaneshwar Maharaj and Sant Tukaram Maharaj entered the Pune City Police Commissionerate limits on Thursday, the Pune City Police launched a Live Palkhi Tracking website to help citizens monitor the procession in real time and plan their travel accordingly.
The live tracking service is available on the Pune Police’s dedicated traffic portal: diversion.punepolice.gov.in.
The website displays three key markers:
START: Shows the current location of the head of the palkhi procession.
PALKHI: Indicates the real-time location of the palkhi chariot.
END: Displays the current location of the tail end of the procession.
Citizens can use this feature to avoid traffic congestion, choose alternate routes, and stay updated on the movement of the palkhi processions. The Pune City Police have also urged commuters to follow all traffic advisories issued during the annual wari processions for a smooth and safe journey.
