Central Railway Cancels, Diverts Several Mumbai-Pune Trains Till July 25. Check List Here
Pune, July 18, 2026: Rail passengers travelling between Mumbai and Pune over the next week are advised to check their train status before leaving for the station, as Central Railway has temporarily cancelled, short-terminated and diverted several express and local trains between July 18 and July 25.
The changes have been necessitated by restoration work following a landslide between Lonavala and Karjat, where debris had disrupted railway operations. While the down line and middle line have been restored, repairs on the third line are still underway. As a safety precaution, several train services have been affected until the work is completed.

Fully Cancelled Trains (July 18–24)
The following trains have been cancelled on specified dates:
- CSMT–Chennai Express
- CSMT–Hyderabad Express
- Daund–Indore Express
- Hadapsar–Jodhpur Express
- CSMT–Kolhapur Express (cancelled only on July 18)
Trains Cancelled on Specific Dates
- Dadar–Shirdi Express: July 18, 21, 22 and 23
- Shirdi–Dadar Express: July 19, 22, 23 and 24
- Dadar–Satara Express: July 19, 20 and 24
- Satara–Dadar Express: July 18, 20, 21 and 25
Trains Diverted
- Visakhapatnam–LTT Express (July 17–22): Diverted via Daund–Manmad–Igatpuri–Kalyan.
- LTT–Visakhapatnam Express (July 18–24): Diverted via Kalyan–Manmad–Daund–Solapur.
- Chennai–Ekta Nagar, Secunderabad–Rajkot, and Coimbatore–Rajkot trains will operate on select days via the Daund–Manmad–Jalgaon–Surat route instead of their regular route.
Train Short-Terminated
- Hospet–CSMT Express (July 17–23): The train will terminate at Pune Junction instead of proceeding to Mumbai.
Central Railway has advised passengers to verify the live running status of their trains through the official railway enquiry system or mobile applications before commencing their journey, as restoration work continues on the affected section.
