PMC starts work on Concord Portia road within 4 hours after Pune Pulse highlights the plight
Pune Pulse on October 21, 2020 had highlighted the issue of pathetic road condition near Concord Portia. Within 4 hours the work started on the road where the PMC staff was seen resurfacing the road with soil.

The Corporator of the area visited the site and informed that the repairing of the road has begun.
The Golden Trellis to Concord Portio route was lying unrepaired and in a pathetic condition for the last couple of years. Many complaints were lodged by the residents, but no action was taken. Yesterday, when the Baner residents again complained about the pathetic condition of the route, Pune Pulse took a note of it and further escalated the negligence to the smart city officials and the engineers, within two to three hours of escalation and news published, the road roller was spotted at the site; thus, beginning to prepare the route.
Amol Balwadkar, corporator, too, took a note of it, and immediately set up a visit to the site. While talking to Pune Pulse, he said that he wasn’t aware of this condition of the route, as no area residents reached out to him. “To be honest, I was not aware of this condition of the route. One of the residents when escalated the news by Pune Pulse to me, I immediately set up a visit to the site to further repair this patch of 50 meters.”
Residents from the neighbouring areas thanked Pune Pulse for highlghting and initiating repair work on the road. A local resident, Sudarshan Jagdale, thanked Pune Pulse for the involvement. He said, “Thank you for the involvement as the story in Pune Pulse is giving result.”
