Unattended garbage accumulated on the open plot next to Ujjwal Park society adjacent to the nala caught fire thrice in the last 24 hours.

Reason to the fire is still unknown but the accumulated garbage was a big nuisance for the neighbouring societies around the plot.

Local corporator Nanda Lonkar of Prabhag 26 informed Pune Pulse that the garbage caught fire once at yesterday night and twice today morning. We rushed to the spot with water tankers and informed the Fire Brigade too. We are yet to ascertain the reason of it but prima facie it appears that someone is purposely doing this act.
