Pune : President of Janseva Vikas Samiti shot dead in Talegaon

Talegaon Dabhade, a tranquil town in Pune district, was rocked by a shocking incident when Kishor Aavare, the president of the Janseva Vikas Samiti, was targeted in a brazen attack on Friday afternoon. Four unidentified assailants ambushed Aavare outside the Municipal Council building in Pimpri-Chinchwad, leaving him seriously injured. Supporters have also called for Bandh and police force have been deployed to maintain law and order issue.

Accordig to Police, the assailants, who remain at large, fired four shots at Aavare as he was leaving the Municipal Council premises after a meeting with the chief officer. Two bullets struck Aavare, causing severe injuries. Swift action was taken, and Aavare was immediately rushed to Pawana Hospital in Somatane Phata for urgent medical treatment. But he was declared dead.

The shooting incident has sent shockwaves throughout Talegaon Dabhade, with residents gripped by panic and concern for their safety. In response, the local police have deployed a significant force in the area to restore order and ensure the security of the community.

Authorities are currently investigating the motive behind the attack on Aavare, a prominent figure in the Janseva Vikas Samiti. Initial reports suggest that two of the assailants fired the shots while the other two restrained Aavare, creating a chaotic scene before making their escape from the scene of the crime.

Law enforcement agencies have promptly registered a case in connection with the incident and are actively searching for the attackers. The police are leaving no stone unturned in their efforts to apprehend the culprits and bring them to justice.
