Pune : MNGL supply of 1000 residents remains disrupted in NIBM road, Wanowrie, and Kondhwa

Over 1000 residents from NIBM road, Undri, Mohamadwadi, Wanowrie are still without MNGL gas supply since last night. The residents complained that the supply remained off from 8 PM on May 26 till 1.30 PM on May 27 with no intimation from the natural gas agency. The residents were clueless what went wrong. 

The residents complained that this is the fifth incident in the last six months that supply has stopped abruptly. 

When Pune Pulse spoke to Manik Kadam, general manager and operations, Maharashtra Natural Gas Limited (MNGL) Pune told Pune Pulse that the exact cause is under investigation. We are trying to restore the supply at this moment. We shall ascertain the cause once the restoring process is done. At this moment there are 3 teams involved in the area which are restoring the connections at society level. 

Aparna Javir, chairwoman, Kubera Colony society, there is no supply since last night. There is no proper communication as to why the supply is disrupted. 

Sandra Dsouza, a resident from Runwal Daffodils said, “The supply is yet to be restored in our society. Everyone is suffering as we are unaware of the restoration period.”  

Another resident, Deepali Chavan from Kubera Garden society informed that the supply was restored at 12 noon after long hours of disruption. 

Shubhangi Deshpande informed that her 87 year old relative in Natasha Enclave was left with no supply of MNGL making it difficult for her to carry out her daily chores
