Air India Adds Flights To Phuket From June 1
Late Sunday evening, Rajiv Gandhi International Airport in Hyderabad was thrown into a state of high alert due to a threatening email received. The anonymous message alleged that a passenger on an Air India flight, bound for Dubai, was a potential hijacker.
At approximately 7 PM on October 8, airport personnel received a concerning email warning them to exercise caution regarding a specific passenger.
According to the email, this passenger was purportedly an informant for the Pakistani intelligence agency ISI and had intentions to hijack Flight AI951. The email also suggested that several individuals at Hyderabad airport were somehow connected to this person.
Promptly responding to the alarming message, airport security swiftly identified the passenger mentioned in the email and took him into custody. He was immediately escorted to an isolation bay, accompanied by his hand baggage.
In an abundance of caution, Flight AI951, originally scheduled for departure to Dubai, was redirected to a separate isolation bay while authorities assessed the situation.
