Cyber hackers attack Smart city website
Pune : Cyber Police Probe Rs 101.5 Lakh Online Heists: Businessman, Retired Colonel Hacked"
Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Coproration’s smart city website has been subjected to a attack, according to the latest updates shared by Nigdi Police. Close to 27 servers have been attacked by the cyber criminals and the respective data have been stolen. The attackers have demanded 5 crore rupees in form of bitcoins to release the servers and the data.
“Yes, the servers are attacked.” said Smart City Data Officer, Nilkanth Poman, while talking to Pune Pulse.
More updates from the Police stated that Nigdi Police is investigating the scenario and further reports are awaited.
