Bothra posted on his X account about how a flight attendant prepared him a Vrat-friendly snack after learning that he was fasting during Navratri.

As per further information from X handle of Arun Bothra, “Mother Divine takes care of you in different forms. Today she came as Purvi, an Indigo crew member. As I didn’t take snacks due to Navratri fasting, she returned with Sabudana Chips, Til Chikki & tea. When I asked how much to pay, she said – ‘No money sir. I am also fasting.’”

A 1996-batch Odisha cadre IPS officer appreciated the generosity of the flight attendant. He reportedly refused snacks on the plane because he was fasting. When Purvi found out the reason, she came back with snacks like Sabudana Chips, Chikki etc which are allowed during fasting. Not only that, she even refused to accept money for those snacks and also said that she was fasting. She also handed him a letter which said “It was a pleasure to have you on the flight. May Navdurga bless you with abundance.”

Indigo commented on Arun Bothra’s post, stating “Purvi’s act exemplifies the spirit of care and understanding we strive to embody. Your words are greatly appreciated and will be shared with Purvi. We look forward to serving you again on your future journeys. Best wishes during Navratri.”
