PCMC Commissioner assures preparedness to fight against growing COVID cases

PCMC Commissioner, Rajesh Patil had written a letter to over 40 hospitals in the PCMC limits to be prepared to tackle the rise in the COVID cases. Pune Pulse when reached out to understand the preparedness of the civic body to fight the rise in the COVID cases.

Rajesh Patil, while talking to Pune Pulse, updated that the civic body is fully prepared to tackle any situation currently or in future.

He said, “We are fully prepared. Along with the government hospitals, private hospitals, too, are well informed about the crisis.”

Talking about the public response and the behavior to the call of social distancing, Rajesh Patil said, “It is unfortunate that people are still not understanding the seriousness of the state. We have implemented strict measures but how long we can impose strict measures to tackle the virus. Citizens must act responsibly now.”
