All vaccination centers to remain closed on April 9 in PCMC
Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation on April 8,2021 announced that due to shortage of Covid19 vaccines, all vaccination centers shall remain closed on April 9 in Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation jurisdiction.
The information was released by additional health officer Dr Pavan Salve.
PCMC had set up 59 vaccination centers wherein 1 lakh 80 thousand 92 people have been vaccinated, while out of 28 private vaccination centers, over 50, 777 people have been given Covid19 vaccination. Total of 2 lakh 30 thousand 869 vaccinations have been given in the city.
The vaccination program is being held as per the directives issued by the government. The corporation shall resume the vaccination facility immediately after the adequate stock of vaccines are provided to the civic body.
