Actor Rakul Singh’s brother arrested In Hyderabad drug bust

Hyderabad: The Telangana Anti Narcotics Bureau, Cyberabad police’s Special Operations Team, and Rajendra Nagar police arrested five drug dealers, including two Nigerians selling cocaine to high-profile customers in Hyderabad.
Shockingly, Aman Preet Singh, brother of famous Bollywood actress, Rakul Preet Singh, has been arrested amongst the other four customers for purchasing and consuming cocaine. The other identified individuals apprehended for allegedly consuming cocaine are Aniketh, Prasad, Madhu, and Nikhil. Police officials have seized 199 grams of cocaine which is worth Rs. 35 lakhs, two passports, two bikes, ten cell phones, and other incriminating materials during a raid.
The raid took place at a flat in Hydershakote in the Narsingi area of Hyderabad. Following the raid, the Cyberabad Commissioner of Police, Avinash Mohanty, confirmed that Aman Preet Singh was one of the high-profile customers of the drug sellers.
Out of the thirteen customers, five tested positive for the drug based on urine samples and were subsequently arrested. Next, the Telangana police issued a statement urging the youth and students to stay away from intoxicants such as drugs and requested parents to monitor their children’s activities and approach the police if needed.
Similarly, actress Rakul Preet Singh, Aman’s sister, was previously summoned by the Enforcement Directorate in connection with a drug trafficking and consumption case. Her statement was recorded by the probe agency in 2021 and 2022 regarding the same.
The arrest of Aman Preet Singh and others have several impacts.
