Increased Discharge from Khadakwasla Dam Due to Heavy Rainfall

Due to ongoing heavy rainfall, the discharge from Khadakwasla Dam has been increased once again. On Monday, July 29th, at 12 PM, the discharge was raised to 25,036 cusecs.
The water is being released into the Mutha River from the spillway of Khadakwasla Dam. The discharge amount, currently set at 25,036 cusecs, may be adjusted based on the rainfall intensity and inflow. Authorities have advised the public to avoid entering the riverbed. Any belongings or livestock in the riverbed should be moved immediately, according to the Sub-Divisional Engineer from the Mutha Canal Irrigation Sub-Division.
