Pune, June 23, 2025: Tata Group-owned Air India has announced temporary cuts to its narrowbody flight operations, impacting both domestic and short-haul international routes. The revised schedule is being updated across Air India’s digital platforms and support channels.
Widebody Reductions Also Underway:
The narrowbody cuts follow earlier adjustments in Air India’s international long-haul operations. Citing safety checks on Boeing 787 and 777 aircraft and airspace restrictions over the Middle East, the airline had previously reduced or suspended several flights to Europe, North America, East Asia, and Australia.
Notably, services from Delhi to Toronto, Vancouver, San Francisco, and Chicago have been trimmed, along with frequency cuts on routes to London, Paris, Milan, and Tokyo, among others.
Air India reaffirmed that these adjustments are temporary and aimed at strengthening schedule reliability and passenger safety. Full services will be restored once operational readiness allows.
