The creators of the anticipated film Chhaava have revealed the first-look poster featuring Akshaye Khanna. He will portray the character of Mughal Emperor Aurangzeb.
The striking poster showcases Akshaye as Aurangzeb, glaring intensely at his adversaries, with his white hair cascading across his face. In a different poster, he dons the Mughal crown, capturing the essence of the formidable ruler.
The production house Maddock Films posted the poster on their official X page, along with a message, “Darr aur dehshat ka naya chehra (The new face of fear and terror) – Presenting #AkshayeKhanna as Mughal Shahenshah Aurangzeb, the ruthless ruler of the Mughal Empire! #ChhaavaTrailer out tomorrow. Earlier today, the creators delighted fans by showcasing Rashmika in her majestic portrayal of Maharani Yesubai.
Chhaava tells the story of the bravery of Sambhaji Maharaj, the son of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, highlighting his embodiment of the four fundamental elements of nature: earth, fire, water, and air.
Chhaava, helmed by Laxman Utekar, is a historical drama featuring Vicky Kaushal in the role of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, Rashmika Mandanna as Maharani Yesubai, and Akshaye Khanna portraying Aurangzeb. This marks the first on-screen collaboration between Rashmika and Vicky. The film is set to hit theaters on February 14.
Khanna appears completely transformed, radiating the fierce intensity of his role. His hair cascades over his face, enhancing the character’s threatening presence. The poster showcases Khanna wearing the Mughal crown.
