Telugu superstar Allu Arjun has generously donated Rs 1 crore to the Chief Minister’s Relief Funds of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana to support flood relief efforts in the wake of the recent devastating rains. The actor, who is eagerly anticipated for his upcoming film ‘Pushpa 2: The Rule,’ shared the news on his social media, expressing his concern for those affected by the floods.

In his post, Allu Arjun wrote, “I’m saddened by the loss and suffering caused by the devastating rains in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. In these challenging times, I humbly donate Rs 1 crore in total to the CM Relief Funds of both the states to support the relief efforts. Praying for everyone’s safety.”

This gesture follows a similar donation by his colleague from the Telugu film industry, NTR Jr., who also contributed Rs 1 crore towards the relief operations. NTR Jr. shared his own message on social media, expressing his deep concern for those impacted by the floods and his hope for a swift recovery.

The torrential rains in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh have resulted in the deaths of 35 people, extensive damage to infrastructure, and significant crop losses. Although floodwaters are beginning to recede in many areas, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a “yellow alert” for four districts in Telangana, warning of continued heavy rainfall.

State governments have intensified relief operations as they work to address the ongoing challenges in the affected regions.
