Ambil Odha residents demand alignment of nullah as per DP plan

Residents organisation from Ambil Odha recently held a meeting demanding completion of Ambil Odha straightening work proposed in development plan since 1987.

Sachin Nivangune, Sachin Dighe and other representatives of Ambil Odha Residents Organisation issued a press release today.

They said that straightening,altering alignment of Ambil Odha stream has been proposed in development plan since 1987. It is also mentioned in the development plan of 1989 ,2017 still the work has not completed by PMC,and residents have suffered due heavily due to floods not just once but four times .But since land near the stream close to Dandekar bridge is given for slum redevelopment ,PMC should take care of aligning it straight. They said redevelopment of slum is a legal process for PMC ,SRA and state government and must be done by these organisations.

Residents have shifted in transit camp as per guidelines of SRA and now its duty of SRA, PMC and state government to provide new homes built for us without further delay.
