Pune: Massive Fire Engulfs Scrap Warehouse in Mohammadwadi 

Pune, Mohammadwadi: A large fire erupted at a scrap warehouse in Pune’s Mohammadwadi area early Monday morning, sending thick smoke into the sky but resulting in no injuries.

The Pune Fire Brigade arrived at the spot with three vehicles, including a water tanker, after receiving reports of a fire in a single-story godown filled with various scrap materials.

Firefighting teams had to break into the godown, which was locked at the time of the incident, using bolt cutters. Their quick action in controlling the fire prevented it from spreading to neighbouring warehouses, thus avoiding a larger catastrophe.
