In a bid to enhance voter convenience and participation, the Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) has introduced the ‘Know Your Polling Station’ facility across all zonal offices. 

From May 1 to May 13, voters can use this facility. As per information, the service is started to increase the percentage of voting as well as solve the issue of voters. 

The facility will continue to function even on holidays. The initiative aims to empower voters by providing them with essential information ahead of the upcoming polls. Municipal authorities have urged residents to make full use of this service to ensure a smooth and efficient voting process.

Under the supervision of designated regional officers, each zonal office has been appointed as a hub for facilitating the ‘Know Your Polling Station’ service. 

Regional officers are appointed as controlling officers for this ward. Sucheta Pansare Zonal Office (A), Nigdi, Amar Pandit Zonal Office (B), Chinchwad, Anna Bodde, Zonal Office (C), Bhosari, Ankush Jadhav, Zonal Office (D), Rahatni, Rajesh Agle, Zonal Office (E), Bhosari, Sitaram Bahure (F), Zonal Office (G), Nigdi, Ajinkya Yele, Zonal Office (H), Thergaon and Umesh Dhakne, Zonal Office (I), Kasarwadi have been appointed. All these officials will assist voters in accessing crucial polling station details.

By addressing citizens’ concerns and queries, the PCMC aims to foster greater civic engagement and participation in the democratic process.

Shekhar Singh, Municipal Commissioner has emphasized the importance of voter participation and urged residents to seize this opportunity to exercise their democratic rights effectively. With the Lok Sabha general election approaching, the PCMC remains committed to facilitating a seamless voting experience for all constituents.

As the ‘Know Your Polling Station’ initiative rolls out, residents are encouraged to proactively engage with the process and ensure their voices are heard on Election Day. Through informed and active participation, voters can contribute to shaping the future of their community and nation at large.
