Pune: Hadapsar - Dive Ghat Stretch To Remain Closed For Vehicles On July 28 Due To Blasting Work
Pune, July 27, 2026: The Pune Traffic Police have announced a temporary traffic closure on the Hadapsar–Dive Ghat stretch of the Alandi–Pandharpur Palkhi Highway on Tuesday, July 28, to facilitate blasting work for an ongoing road widening project.
According to the Office of the Deputy Commissioner of Police (Traffic), the blasting activity will be carried out as part of the widening of the Dive Ghat road.
As a result, all vehicular movement on the stretch between Hadapsar and Dive Ghat will remain completely suspended from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm.
The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has advised motorists and commuters to use alternative routes during the closure to avoid inconvenience.
The Pune Traffic Police have appealed to citizens to cooperate with the authorities and plan their travel accordingly while the road widening work is underway.
