Bangiya Samsad Nagar Road celebrates Saraswati Puja in Viman Nagar

To strengthen the cultural bond among the multi-linguistic, multi-ethnic people, a group of forward thinking people formed a registered charitable non-profit making organization named as “BANGIYA SAMSAD NAGAR ROAD, Pune” in 2004.
On 16 February 2021, Bangiya Samsad Nagar Road (BSNR) celebrated “Basant Panchami”.

“On this auspicious occasion we worshipped goddess Saraswati, the Goddess of knowledge, music and arts, at Anand Vidya Niketan School Ground, Viman Nagar, Pune.” said Bidhan Dutta, vice president, BSNGR.
On this occasion, the members worshipped Maa Saraswati, with Puja, Yagya/Hawan, Aarti, ‘Annadan’ (free distribution of food to everyone irrespective of caste and creed).

Snigdha Dey and Joita Sen addressed the young school children to emphasis about ‘Basant Pnachami’ and Devi Saraswati – the Goddess of knowledge, music and arts. The members celebrated the occasion by strictly maintaining social distancing, wearing of masks, sanitizing the ground and other COVID norms. We together worship Devi Saraswati and seek her blessings for good health, prosperity, happiness and peace for everyone.
“Throughout the year BSNR is committed to engage in different social activities and continues to extend support to the needy. BSNR used to donate in cash and kind at old age home/ needy school children/ helped during COVID crisis/ PM Relief fund/ organize various social activities such as Sachha Vimannagar Avijan/ Blood Donation Camp etc. BSNR is committed to spread the message of joy and harmony to mankind. Through these celebrations we also spread the peace and unity, love and affection and environmental consciousness as a part of social responsibilities, ” added Dr. Bidhan Datta Vice President, BSNR.
