Additionally, important legal documents like adoption papers, power of attorney forms, wills, and property deeds are often stored in these secure spaces.
The updated regulations clearly state that cash and currency are not allowed in bank lockers. Furthermore, the storage of arms, weapons, drugs, explosives, or any contraband items is prohibited. Lockers are also unsuitable for perishable items, radioactive materials, illegal substances, or hazardous materials. Additionally, any items that may cause a disturbance or nuisance are banned. Bank lockers are designated solely for lawful purposes, including the protection of valuables such as jewelry and essential documents.
Prohibited items include weapons, explosives, drugs, or any other illegal substances. Additionally, any perishable, radioactive, illegal, or hazardous materials are not allowed. Also, Any item that could jeopardize the safety of the Bank or its clients is strictly forbidden.
ICICI Bank
Under the updated locker regulations at ICICI Bank, customers may use lockers solely for legal purposes. The storage of cash, weapons, drugs, or any hazardous substances is explicitly forbidden.
