Bhosari Emerges as Key Hub in Pimpri-Chinchwad with Improved Roads and Infrastructure
Bhosari, once a peripheral area of Pimpri-Chinchwad city, is now emerging as a central hub, thanks to enhanced connectivity and infrastructure development. The area’s transformation has been fueled by key projects such as the Pune-Nashik highway, Nigdi-Bhosari spine road, Telco road, Dehu-Alandi road, and Wagholi-Lohgaon-Moshi road.
Established in 1970, Pimpri-Chinchwad city has evolved from a Municipal Council to a Smart City and Metro City. The municipality’s expansion has incorporated nearby villages, including Bhosari, Moshi, Charholi, Dighi, Vadmukhwadi, Chovisawadi, Chikhali, and Dudulgaon, which were previously deprived of development. Today, these villages are witnessing rapid growth and development.
Infrastructure upgrades have been a key focus area, with improved roads, sewage, water supply, and electricity. New projects, such as home complexes, road widening, and construction of new roads, have transformed the landscape. The Nigdi-Bhosari-Moshi spine road, Dehu-Alandi Pilgrimage Corridor, and upgraded Alandi-Pune Palkhi route have further boosted connectivity.
According to Mahesh Landge, MLA, Bhosari, “In the last 10 years, efforts have been made to solve the problem of main roads and alternative roads to increase the ‘connectivity’ of the villages included. We have given priority to the development of the included villages through the Mahayuti government and are determined to solve the problems of the society holders with infrastructure facilities.”
As Bhosari continues to grow, it has become an attractive alternative for citizens, with its improved infrastructure, connectivity, and amenities. Educational complexes, malls, and showrooms have been established, catering to the needs of the local population. With its newfound status as a central hub, Bhosari is poised to play a vital role in Pimpri-Chinchwad city’s future development.
