Bihar Train Accident: North East Express Derails near Buxar, Rescue Team at site.

The North East Express train derailed near Raghunathpur station in Bihar, resulting in the loss of at least four lives and leaving several others injured. The train, originating from Anand Vihar Terminus in Delhi and en route to Kamakhya near Guwahati, met with the accident around 9.35 pm on Wednesday.

In response to the incident, Union Minister Ashwini Kumar Choubey stated that national and state disaster response teams have arrived at the scene, and the injured will be transported to AIIMS, Patna.

Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Tejashwi Yadav has coordinated with various departments and officials to expedite relief and rescue efforts in Buxar and Bhojpur.

Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma’s office is closely monitoring the situation and liaising with district authorities in Buxar and other relevant agencies.
