YouTuber Vaishnavi Shukla recently stirred controversy with a video criticizing boAt, a company specializing in audio products. In her viral video, Shukla condemned Aman Gupta’s boAt for what she described as “poor quality” products, urging viewers to boycott the brand.

Following the video’s circulation, boAt responded to Shukla, expressing a desire to address her concerns and improve their offerings.

In her video, Shukla labelled the company as a “total scam” and detailed her negative experiences with various boAt products, including headphones, watches, and speakers, all of which she claimed broke shortly after purchase.

She showcased the purported quality issues in her video, prompting significant attention on social media. Since its posting, Shukla’s video has garnered nearly three lakh views and over 14,000 likes.

After the post went viral, boAt replied to it and wrote, “Hi Vaishnavi, we’re eager to make things right and give you the amazing boAthead experience you deserve. We have asked for your contact details via DM.

We request you to share the same so that we can get this closed on priority. We truly appreciate your support, and we hope to keep you as a happy boAthead for years to come!”

Here’s how others reacted to the video:

An individual wrote, “I bought boat headphones three times. They cost me more than 2k each time & did not even last for a year. Worst products ever. I decided never to buy anything from them, not even good sound quality in their headphones @boat.nirvana”

A second shared, “The quality is worse; the headphones are very bad in quality.”

“I’ve been using the boat’s product for a long time. I have not had any difficulty with a warranty claim. They are very supportive in providing support, but your personal negligence of using the product does not prove the company’s irresponsibility,” said a third.

boAt’s response to the viral video emphasized their commitment to rectifying the situation and providing Shukla with a positive customer experience. They reached out to her via direct message, seeking to address her grievances promptly and ensure her satisfaction as a boAthead.

The video sparked further discussion online, with one individual sharing their negative experience with boAt headphones, echoing Shukla’s sentiments and vowing to avoid purchasing from the brand in the future.
