Students appearing for the Sarathi, Barti, and Mahajyoti CET exams boycotted the examination as they alleged that the question paper was leaked.

Rahul Sasane, PhD student & student leader, SPPU said, “CET exam was conducted for the second time today for the students who had applied for fellowship related to Sarathi, Barti, and Mahajyoti institutes. Once again, the students have alleged that the paper was leaked and have left all the centers without writing the exam.”

As per the information, the question papers for the exams of 4 different sets i.e. A, B, C, D are printed & given to students in the exam. However, the same question papers that were allegedly leaked were given today in the exam conducted for Sarthi, Barti, and Mahajyoti Research Institutes at the examination center of Kashibai Navale Engineering College, Vadgaon Budruk, Pune. It also came to the notice that the C and D question papers were not sealed. As a result,  the students left the exam hall and protested by boycotting the exam.

However, the SPPU administration has denied this through a public disclosure by stating that the Joint Examination of the Sarathi, Barti, and Mahajyoti Fellowship students was conducted on Wednesday, January 10, 2024, from 10.00 am to 11.00 am through various examination centers in the cities of Pune, Kolhapur, Nagpur and Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar.

Four sets of question papers namely A, B, C, and D were printed for the said examination. The said question paper sets were printed in a highly confidential manner, following the prescribed security standards, and delivered to the respective examination centers in sealed form. The entire examination process is conducted transparently at all examination centers. Therefore, the allegations made regarding the examination paper leak are completely baseless and have no truth.
