Alcohol shops & bars to be open till midnight for ‘these’ 3 days

In view of the New Year, the state government has allowed liquor shops, and permit rooms to remain open till 5 am on December 24, 25 and 31. Apart from that, some wine shops, foreign and premium liquor stores will be open till 1 am. Apart from that, pubs, bars and restaurants, beer bars will also be open till 5 am.

As per information shared by Yuvraj Shinde, Deputy Superintendent, State Excise Department, on the occasion of Christmas and New Year, the state government has given approval to keep various liquor shops in the state open till late at night after their scheduled time on December 24, 25 and 31.

Due to this permission given by the state government, the new year party for liquor lovers will be celebrated with a bang. Liquor lovers will now be able to buy liquor till 5 am on December 24, 25 and 31. To welcome the New Year, many people drink on December 31 and throw parties to welcome the New Year with a bang.

Liquor is in demand during this period. The sale of liquor brings financial benefits to the State Excise Department. Liquor sales also generate a large amount of revenue for the state. Therefore, the decision to extend this time will bring financial benefit to the government.

Also, as per the government directives, the relaxation in the above time can be cancelled as per the requirement considering public peace, law and order.
