Chikhali-Moshi-Pimpri Chinchwad Housing society opposes decision to lease playground for horse riding in Chikhali
The decision to lease out the designated playground at River Residency Chowk in Chikhli to a private organization for horse riding has been met with strong opposition by the Chikhli-Moshi-Pimpri Chinchwad Housing Society Federation from the beginning.
Despite this, some individuals are trying to cast doubt on the federation’s role. It is advised that flat owners remain cautious of such individuals.
Sanjivan Sangale, the president of the federation, stated that the Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) had consistently expressed strong disapproval of granting a lease for the reserved sports ground near River Residency in Chikhali to a private organization for horse riding.
The federation had corresponded with the commissioner of the PCMC regarding this matter. The federation, being apolitical, has consistently affirmed that it neither endorses nor opposes any political party’s stance. However, certain political parties have been sowing discord and disseminating false information among the society’s members over the past 48 hours.
Therefore, the federation is reaffirming its resolute position and redoubling efforts to protect the playground.
In the meantime, the federation will bring this matter to the attention of MLA Mahesh Landge and Municipal Commissioner Shekhar Singh, requesting their intervention to ensure that the decision made by the PCMC commissioner and administrator is overturned.
The federation will address the issue as it has consistently taken positions that have served the interests of society owners and upheld justice. Furthermore, the civic administration has already taken proactive steps to resolve numerous problems. The decision made by the PCMC to allocate the reserved ground for sports near River Residency in Chikhli to a private institution for horse riding has been met with strong opposition by the federation. The federation has consistently been against this decision and will continue to stand firm in its position.
Unfortunately, certain political parties have been attempting to create confusion among society owners and spread false information about the federation’s stance. In response, the federation will assertively reaffirm its previous position and is committed to taking all necessary democratic measures to address this issue.
