Children’s day at St Anne’s Church
A grand celebration was organised by St Anne’s Temperance Society and The Holy Family Society at the St. Anne’s Church on November 13th, 2022. Parents were asked to register the names of their children a week before. The registered children were then divided into four groups and named – Red, Green, Blue and Yellow.
The Parish priest addressed the children. They were then given snacks which included a sandwich, swiss roll cake, cold drinks and tea. Ribbon games, Jalebi race game, Xs and Os and tug of war were played by both junior and senior students.
Children were then served lunch. The day-long programme ended with Tambola and Antakshari games. As a fitting finale to the celebration, gifts were distributed.
