In the freezing temperatures of Pune, two friends had planned to host a biryani party. When that plan fell through, they decided to cook biryani at home instead. Unfortunately, an argument over the biryani escalated to violence, resulting in one friend killing the other by striking him with a gas cylinder. This shocking incident occurred in Pimpri, Pune. One friend criticized the biryani, which infuriated the other and led to the tragic confrontation. This incident took place in the Dighi area of Pimpri on Sunday, December 15.

The person who passed away is named Santosh Shankar Khandare. He was 45 years old and worked as a laborer. Santosh had moved to Pune from Washim for employment. He arrived in Pune for work just three months ago and secured a position as a mason at a construction site. Both Santosh Khandare and Ganesh Khandare were employed at that construction site.

On Sunday, Santosh and Ganesh decided to make biryani and gathered all the necessary ingredients. After cooking, they sat down to eat, but when they realized the biryani was not good, an argument started. This escalated into a fight, during which Ganesh struck Santosh on the head with a gas cylinder, resulting in Santosh’s death.
