Cool Weather Arrives in Maharashtra: Nashik, Pune Temperatures Likely to Dip Below 16°C
As winter approaches, Nashik and Pune residents enjoy cooler days, while Mumbai retains a warmer, humid environment.
The winter chill is starting to settle across Maharashtra, with colder temperatures arriving in cities like Nashik, Pune, and Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) predicts a continued drop in temperatures, creating a “pink winter” feel for residents. Clear skies and no rain are expected across the state today, November 11.
In Mumbai, the maximum temperature is forecasted to reach 35°C, with a minimum of 22°C, maintaining a warmer climate. However, Pune’s temperatures continue to fall, with a high of 30°C and a low of around 15°C, bringing cooler mornings and evenings for residents to enjoy.
In Nashik, skies are clear, with temperatures likely to hover around 31°C during the day and drop to 14°C at night. Marathwada, including Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, will experience a maximum of 30°C and a minimum as low as 14°C, adding a noticeable chill to the air. Vidarbha, too, will experience dry weather, with Nagpur seeing a maximum of 32°C and a minimum of 19°C.
The IMD warns that temperatures could dip even further in the coming days, and residents across Nashik, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, and Pune may want to pull out their sweaters as winter sets in.
