Here is another interesting story related to Covid-19:

In April 2023, a special focus was given to ten districts, including Mumbai, Pune, and Thane, which were considered highly vulnerable to COVID-19

The then-state health minister Dr Tanaji Sawant said that the number of COVID-19 tests should be increased. He had urged the state health department to rectify any errors detected during mock drills that had been conducted recently. He appealed to the public to wear masks and follow COVID-19 guidelines. The state government is attempting to ensure that the ten districts identified as being at high risk are adequately prepared to fight the virus.
