New route to enhance business, tourism, and economic ties between Pune and Dubai with direct daily flights.

IndiGo, one of India’s largest airlines, has announced the launch of daily non-stop flights between Pune and Dubai, set to begin operations on November 22. This new addition to IndiGo’s international network will provide Pune with direct access to Dubai, one of the UAE’s most popular business and tourism hubs, airline officials shared on Tuesday.

With the introduction of this daily route, IndiGo will now operate an impressive 383 weekly flights out of Pune, covering over 25 domestic locations and two international destinations. The airline’s decision to expand its international footprint in Pune underscores Dubai’s significance as a key destination for business, job opportunities, and tourism.

Vinay Malhotra, IndiGo’s Head of Global Sales, expressed excitement over the new route, noting Dubai’s appeal as a thriving commercial hub with world-renowned shopping and architecture. “With these daily flights, we now offer over 100 weekly flights to Dubai from 13 cities across India. This expansion aligns with our commitment to deliver affordable, on-time, and convenient connectivity for our customers,” Malhotra said.

The new Pune-Dubai route will not only facilitate travel but is expected to boost tourism and trade between the two regions, potentially contributing to the economic growth of Pune and western Maharashtra. The Dubai-to-Pune flight will depart daily at 17:40, arriving in Pune at 22:10, while the return flight from Pune is scheduled to take off at 00:15 and reach Dubai at 02:15 the next day.

Presently, Pune Airport offers only two international flight routes — Vistara’s Pune-Singapore and SpiceJet’s Pune-Dubai. With IndiGo’s entry, travelers now have an additional option to reach Dubai, enhancing convenience and accessibility. Tickets are available on IndiGo’s website and app for those looking to plan travel on the new route.
